The Association for Integration and Migration is a non-profit organisation, which provides legal and social counselling to foreigners living in the Czech Republic. Migrant Deaths: The hidden costs of climate change

At the occasion of celebrating the UN declared International Refugee Day on 20 June, the Association for Integration and Migration joins the CAMPAIGN in SUPPORT of REFUGEES and MIGRANTS.

We invite you to apply pressure on the Czech government and EU institutions! Write letters about the real and urgent crisis concerning climate refugees.

Sending a letter of protest will give our common action a stronger message.


You can write a letter of protest to the policy-makers of your choice. For inspiration, you can also use the example letter you can find in the attachment and downloadable from the following link (English version):

Roundtable on the interpretation for migrants and refugees [22.05.2010]

We invite you to the Roundtable on interpretation for migrants and refugees organised on 3 June 2010 by the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic, which will take place in the European house at Jungmannova 24, Prague 1 from 12.30 pm to 16.30 pm.

Director of SIMI, Magda Faltová, will present there her speech on SIMI´s experience with the access of clients to the interpretors and on the quality of interpretation in the asylum procedure.
