Study on Migration and the Economic Crisis: Implications for Policy in the European Union will provide a synthesis and analysis of the latest available evidence in order to assess the impact of the global economic crisis on migrants and migration policy in the European Union. The findings presented in the report are based primarily on a survey conducted by IOM offices in the 27 EU Member States and Croatia, Norway and Turkey, the findings of seven commissioned country case studies (Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain and the UK) as well as desk research.
